DO'S

DON'T

DO

DO ...

> Show him lots of love but always remain the alpha          leader!

> Make sure your pup has enough rest! He can't be

disturbed in his sleep so especially with young

children in the house pay attention to this please.

> Go on socializing your pup. You've got a lot to do

before he turns 12 weeks. Go to busy and noisy places    (markets, fairs, ...) Let people visit you. Introduce him      to bicycles, skateboards, ...

> Let him play and have a nice puppy time without              traumas.

> Teach him to walk the stairs when he is about 4 or 5

months, not too often a day (once is enough). Throw        something up (cheese) to get his interest with you            behind him so he can't fall down. Go downstairs, you      in front, him on the lead and slowly.

> Do put all your expensive toys away (mobile phone,        remote controle, ... ) Some Wolfies like it.

> Do give him something healthy to chew on.

> Give him fruit: apples, bananas, ...

> Go to behaviour classes!

> Let him loose on a safe, far away from the road nature    place.

DON'T

DON'T ...

> Don't let the pup exhaust himself running and jumping,

build in a rest. Some pups just can't get enough. They        don't know when to quit.

> Don't let him play on the stairs; ever!

> Don't give him sweets, it'll ruin his teeth.

> Don't leave him alone or let him play with a small ball      or other object.

Dogs have been known to swallow a small ball and die.

> Don't let him gain too much weight and be overweight.

> Don't let him bite you hard in your play together and        correct him if he does, meaning you can for example        offer your hand and stretch your finger when he bites.      They don't like that feeling.

> When loose, don't chase him but turn around and run        away, hide now and then. Your pup will follow you and      not the other way around.

> Don't use a gentle lead on him, when he's younger than

a year. When he pulls use a harnass. When after you do

use a gentle, never correct brutally with it, you can

   damage the neck.
