We like to work this tiny bit extra on socializing our pups.

Not only were they born in the study or living room - where we slept for 10 weeks- they also passed their first weeks there, in the kitchen, the garden, ...

They were being fed on the sofa, in the kitchen, ...

They were never put into cages.

They met people visiting. 

 

 

As early as 5 weeks we took them out. They went on a bus, in the car, to parks, to the city centre, inside  the pub, on a terrace, to a play ground, to a concert (a live band playing), for a night walk in the dark, ...

We made sure we had transport for them  (a puppy-carrier), so they could observe and absorb it all without getting tired.

They saw horses, different breeds of dogs, our cat, ducks, ...

 

We tried to introduce them to as many different places as we could. 

Also we socialized them to as many different sounds, noises as we could think of. They visited a skate site, walked into a cheering crowd, played with balloons and heard their 'explotion' when popping, ...

 

We believe in 'mens sana in corpore sano' and we do try to give the pups a good start in life.
